Primary Research

From my primary research I first started in Photoshop and then made an image out of different images then I progressed onto making an image in Illustrator. I then progressed onto drawing the outline of a mask and then making it look as though I want the shape to have. These can help me to make my final piece because of the design of my mask and also it helped me develop my ideas because I know the basic ways around Illustrator and also it has helped me develop my idea further because it has helped me develop my mask so that I can shape it.

After I drew out the shape of my mask I used a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator in making the mask and they layout of the mask. This helps with my final piece because it's the main part of the image.

After I made the layout of my mask I placed out the layout and then made the mask stand out more than the background and made the mask have a white outline.

What I have done

Here I have used the symbols and clicked on grime vector pack. Then I have reshaped the image so that it looks at the same shape as the mask I wanted to do.

Here I have added the title of the film festival.

Here I have used the rectangle shape to put on a background. and then sent in to the back. I then have added the stroke and changed the stroke colour to white. 

Here I have added the Middlesbrough College and UK Cinefest logos and added the websites of Middlesbrough College and UK Cinefest and changed the type face and the size of the writing to make it more to stand out.  

Here I have moved all of my writing so that it has been put in the centre of the poster

Been given assignment to make a film festival to promote for Middlesbrough College. I have done some primary research which has been placed in a folder and looked at secondary research to inspire me make my film festival poster.





Secondary Research

By this picture I like how the shape is made up of different movies. 

I like how this image is on a red background a samurai sword coming out of it's shield. 

These can help me progress onto my final piece is the colours of the images and the themes of this help me because of the image and how the colours have contrasted from each other and also helped me by the shapes of the images on the posters. The second image has all straight lines which can help me to produce something that has straight lines.
